Elections end in Telangana

The much anticipated Telangana elections have been concluded in Telangana. The polling was ended by 5 PM. Those who were already in the queue lines by then have been allowed to cast their votes. The Election Commission has allowed to release of the exit polls after 5:30 pm today. The polling percentage in Telangana by 5 PM is around 63.94 percent. However, the actual numbers would be slightly higher after considering the postal ballots and others.

Medak has seen the highest percentage of voter turnout 80.28 percent while the booming Hyderabad sees the lowest with just 39.97 percent. The urban crowd not coming out to cast their votes is certainly a big concern. The counting of this election will happen on December 3rd.
