In every election, a low voting percentage in metropolitan cities is becoming a norm. This is such an alarming situation which needs to be addressed. While the urban people are busy criticizing everything on social media, no one is coming out and casting their votes. While the rural voting percentage in Telangana is fine, the Hyderabad voting percentage became quite a concern.
Till 9 AM, the voting percentage in Hyderabad is less than 5 percent and till 11 AM, the voting percentage has crossed only 13 percent. After 1 PM, the voting percentage in the GHMC area is just 20 percent. With less than 3 hours left, the voters need to turn out to the polling booths to cast their votes.
Those who don’t cast his/her vote, have no right to question democracy or ruling.
