Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar approaches Governor over AP government
Former State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has today met Governor Abdul S Nazeer at Raj Bhavan and complained against the state government. In the complaint, he stated that the government is misusing the funds for the ruling party programs. After he met with the Governor, Nimmagadda met the media and shared the details.
He said that the ruling party and the state government are not the same. Using state government’s money for ruling party programs is abusing the democracy, he said. He also faulted the officials participating in the ruling party programs.
Nimmagadda said that he has requested the Governor to look into the issue and to ensure that there is governance in the state that truly follows the constitution. Nimmagadda also spoke about the removal of the voters from the list. He stated that the people should be given the option to choose where they wanted to have their vote instead of directly removing it.
