Nara Lokesh on Anna Prasadam
Telugu Desam Party general secretary Nara Lokesh today expressed his anger at the poor quality of the Tirumala Anna Prasadam. He said that the devotees consider Anna Prasadam as the blessing of Lord Venkateswara and also believe even more holier than the original Prasadam. It is an emotion for them, he said. Lokesh alleged that the corruption increased multifolds here under the YSRCP regime.
On social media, he posted, “In Tirumala-Tirupati, Annaprasad, which is considered to be holier than Prasad, is kept inferior. What happens to donors’ donations?
This YSRCP government can protect the corrupt hawks who hurt the sentiments of the devotees and harm their health by providing inferior food offerings, but they will be punished by the Lord.
The rulers are threatening to file cases if they talk about corruption and irregularities in TTD. If a child is killed by a leopard…the YSRCP MLAs who pointed the finger at the parents and did not give compensation to the child’s family despite the court’s order is outrageous. The world’s highest earning board TTD doesn’t even have Rs. 5 lakhs? RTC charges going to Tirumala have been increased, Tiffin for devotees and milk for children have been stopped in kitchen lines, Laddu has been reduced in quality and price has been increased, Room rent has been increased from 100 to 1000. Are all these conspiracies to alienate the devotees of the Lord Venkateswara?”
