KTR responds to Congress white paper claims

Telangana Ex-IT Minister KT Rama Rao launched a scathing attack on the Congress party. The ruling party is getting ready to release a ‘White Paper’ to make people understand the current condition of the state. Congress blames the BRS party for the debt burden increase from Rs 70,000 crore to Rs 4 lakh crore from June 2014 to December 2023.

The Congress party states that power utilities also suffered during this period as the debt reached nearly Rs. 85,000 Crores. After consulting the financial officials, the Congress party is going to release the ‘White Paper’ to inform the public about the current financial condition of the state.

KTR, however, took to social media platform X and launched an all-out attack. He posted, “Blowing away the guarantees… blowing away the promises, Will you hide it when you come to power? Are you going to divert the people with White Paper claims? Nine and half years of progress of Telangana is an open book. All budget documents presented to the legislature Assets…Debts…Revenue Expenditure Aren’t the white papers..! We have nothing to hide. If guarantees cannot be enforced… Countdown guarantee for the ruling Congress..!! “
