AP to approach Supreme Court against the bail grant for Chandrababu Naidu
It is very well known that the Andhra Pradesh High Court has granted regular bail to TDP Supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Considering Naidu’s health and the fact that the AP CID failed to provide any evidence against him in connection to the Skill Development Scam, the High Court has granted regular bail and given relaxations to the bail conditions as well.
With this, Chandrababu Naidu can take part in party rallies and meetings. However, as per the latest update, the state government is going to approach the Supreme Court against the bail. It opines that the High Court acted against the norms set by the Supreme Court.
Therefore, a petition challenging the regular bail granted to Mr. Naidu has been moved before the Supreme Court. The AP government said in the petition that the accused is an influential person and has ensured two of his associates fled the country. The government stated in the petition that the accused could affect the trial, thus taking back the granting of bail.
