Popular Youtuber Chandoo Sai arrested on rape charges

Chandoo Sai gets arrested

Youtuber Chandoo Sai popular with the tagline Pakkinti Kurradu and Dhagad web series has been taken into custody by the Narsingi Police Station today on rape charges and cheating a woman after promising to marry her. In the complaint, the woman alleged that Chandoo Sai, on April 25th, 2021 had invited her on the occasion of his birthday to his house and raped her with a promise of marrying her.

Based on this complaint, the Narsingi Police have registered a case against the actor under sections 420 and 376 (2)(n) IPC and the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act. Four other persons including the actor’s parents were also facing charges for alleged involvement. The authorities confirmed that the parents are currently absconding. Chandoo’s family has also been accused of demanding Rs. 3 Crore from the victim’s family.

Chandoo Sai was produced before the court and he was remanded in judicial custody.
