With the rise in the digital market, the satellite industry has taken a complete beating. Earlier, there used to be huge competition for satellite rights among the top TV Channels but the TRP ratings have bogged down after the entry of the OTT platforms. These days, even top films are struggling to crack the satellite deal.

Coming to Guntur Kaaram, Netflix has sealed the digital rights of the film long back but the satellite rights haven’t been cracked up. However, as per the latest update, Gemini TV has acquired the satellite rights to the movie for a decent price. The other Sankranthi releases haven’t closed the deal yet.

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Guntur Kaaram has Mahesh Babu in the role of Ramana, a complete mass character. Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary are the female leads. Thaman S has composed the music for this film.

Guntur Kaaram is scheduled for a huge release on January 12th and the pre-release event of the movie will happen today in Guntur.
