Dubbing releases take over Republic Day weekend

For this year’s Sankranthi, as many as four films have been released and out of them, HanuMan turned out to be the biggest hit. Now, that the Sankranthi hungama was completed, the focus shifted toward the Republic Day weekend movies. Surprisingly, no straight cinema is getting released tomorrow. It is going to be all dubbed movies.

Dhanush’s Captain Miller and Siva Karthikeyan’s Ayalaan will be released tomorrow. Interestingly, both these films were released in Tamil for Pongal and the verdict is already out. There is not so much buzz around these releases too.

Along with them, Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter was released today and the film has garnered decent reviews. With not so much buzz for these movies, a small Telugu film could have easily gained attention. However, the Telugu producers thought of leaving the date. Instead of coming on holiday, these Telugu films are fighting for a solo release date in February.
