drugs case verdict in Tollywood
Drug cases in Tollywood became a sensation in the year 2018. A Special Investigation Team filed 12 cases and called upon several Tollywood celebrities over drug consumption allegations. After all these years, the final hearing on the case was wrapped up today.
The SIT has sent the fingernail and hair samples of the accused in the case. However, the news is that the Forensic Lab tested the samples of only director Puri Jagannath and actor Tarun. It was concluded by the FSL’s drug test that there were no traces of drugs in both Puri Jagannath and Tarun.
With the two samples, it was concluded that the celebrities were not guilty of drug consumption, based on the report submitted by the FSL.
The Nampally Court today gave its verdict on the case. It stated that the Nampally court has concluded that there is no decisive evidence in the case to term the accused as guilty and hence stroke down the case.
