YS Sharmila to take over AP Congress unit in two days!

YS Sharmila to become AP Congress President

As per the latest ongoing speculation, YS Sharmila is all set to take charge of the Andhra Pradesh Congress unit in a maximum of two days. It is very well known that Sharmila recently merged her YSRTP into Congress in New Delhi in the presence of Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi. She met Sonia Gandhi afterwards and said that she feels complete to join the party where his father strived to see Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Minister of the nation.

Now, the current AP Congress President Rudraraju has quit his position as he submitted resignation to the high command. With Rudraraju no longer AP President for the Congress party, the ground is clear for YS Sharmila to take charge and the official announcement will come likely in just two days.

After that will happen, it would be an interesting scenario as YS Sharmila who campaigned for YS Jaganmohan Reddy before the 2019 elections will campaign against him before the 2024 elections. It will be a tricky situation for the YSR fans.
