April 20 is observed as World Weed Day or the 420 day. Here’s what you should know about this day. This date has been associated with the celebration of cannabis culture. On this day, Marijuana enthusiasts around the world celebrate this day and advocate for the legalization and the use of cannabis.

This day came into existence in the 1970s. The popular theory is that a bunch of students at San Rafael High School in Marian County, California, would smoke at that time of the day, every day.

Having said that, one should be aware of the effects of the usage of cannabis. Excessive usage of cannabis could  impair short-term memory, coordination, dizziness, dry mouth, red eyes, etc.,
