Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has campaigned for two days in Telangana. He is in alliance with the BJP and Jana Sena is contesting in 8 assembly constituencies in the state. At first, Pawan Kalyan was reluctant to make his party contest in Telangana elections as he didn’t have any base in the state. He hasn’t concentrated much on Telangana as well.
Pawan Kalyan had to campaign because he is in alliance with BJP and the national party is keen to make a mark in the upcoming elections. They are thinking that the Pawan Kalyan image will help them to bring some seats.
However, will this move backfire for Pawan Kalyan in Andhra Pradesh? If Jana Sena could make a mark in the Telangana elections if they could at least win one or two seats, then it would be a huge plus for Pawan Kalyan, but if the results didn’t favor him then, the ruling YSRCP will utilize this to their strength.
