Salaar is facing stiff competition at the box office from Dunki, especially overseas. Shahrukh Khan is the top star currently with back-to-back 1,000 Crore films and the collections are evident although the film has got moderate reviews. Dunki has dented hugely the collections of Salaar in North America. Salaar starring Prabhas and directed by Prashant Neel is one of the highest-budget films this year and is expected to collect massively.

Salaar opened huge with more than 3.6 million dollars opening but the collections were reduced. On Sunday, the film collected $750K approximately which is less than Dunki ($800K). Overall, Salaar has till now collected $5.5 million while Dunki stands at $3.6 million.

With the current trend, Salaar might not even break the record of Baahubali 1. If not for Dunki, then Salaar could have easily managed a few more million.
