Toshiba to Invest ₹562 Crore in Telangana to Expand Manufacturing

Toshiba Energy Systems announced on Monday that its Indian arm, Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd. (TTDI), has signed an MoU to invest ₹562 crore in Telangana. The pact was inked in Tokyo in the presence of Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and TTDI Chairman Hiroshi Furuta.

The investment aims to expand TTDI’s manufacturing capacity and is expected to generate over 250 direct jobs over the next three years. The move underscores Toshiba’s commitment to strengthening its presence in India and supporting local employment and skill development.
