Telangana High Court rejects RGV’s Vyooham censor certificate
It is another major setback for the Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming political satire Vyooham. The film is targeted at the Telugu Desam Party and as a result, Nara Lokesh appealed in the court to stall the film’s release.
Vyooham’s release was pushed back multiple times, and as per the latest update, the Telangana High Court has rejected the censor certificate of the movie. The court asked to reapply for the censor and ordered the censor board to review the film in three weeks.
With this decision, the revising committee will rewatch the movie and issue a new censor certificate if applicable. The court has also ordered removing all the movie’s objectionable scenes.
Vyooham is all about the political scenarios that happened in the United Andhra Pradesh after the demise of YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Nara Lokesh appealed in the Telangana High Court that this movie was completely objectionable and insulted his father Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
