Telangana Elections: AIMIM to face a stiff competition in these constituencies
The Telangana elections are not even 15 days from today and all the parties are intensifying their campaigning. While BRS is confident of its hat trick, Congress is showing recent survey results where it is favoring the national party. Even, the BJP with the help of Pawan Kalyan is looking to grab a few more seats than the previous term.
However, the concentration will also be on All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) who are silent killers in 7 constituencies. Since the Telangana formed, AIMIM has grabbed 7 seats. In 2018, AIMIM contested in 8 constituencies and won 7 of them. The party is having an undisclosed friendship with the BRS party.
According to the recent surveys, this time, it is not going to be so easy for AIMIM. Apart from 2 or 3 constituencies, AIMIM is going to face stiff competition from Congress, BJP, and even BRS. In Chandrayanagutta and Charminar, AIMIM’s victory is almost sealed with the leader and religious base these areas are having.
Karwan, Malakpet, Nampally, Yakutpura, Jubilee Hills, and Rajendra Nagar constituencies are going to witness fierce battles this time. Will AIMIM beat all the odds to regain at least their 7 constituencies back?
