Tamannaah gets summoned by Mumbai Police

Top actress Tamannaah was summoned by the Mumbai Police for promoting online Mahadev Online gaming and betting application. The Maharashtra Cyber Cell issued summons to the actress for promoting cricket betting through an app called Fairplay where one can watch certain matches of IPL and lay their bets. Fairplay is an app run by Mahadev online gaming app.

Last year, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor were summoned by the Maharashtra Police and recently singer Badshah and the managers of Jacqueline Fernandez, and Sanjay Dutt have registered their statements with the Maharashtra Cyber Cell regarding promoting online betting platforms like Mahadev Online gaming and betting platform.

The actress will appear before the cell next week and will give her statement. Despite the urge of the government not to promote betting apps and platforms, celebrities and social media influencers are taking up the promotions for easy money.
