Singapore Changi Named World’s Best Airport; Delhi Airport Enters Top 10 in Global Traffic Rankings

Singapore’s Changi Airport has once again been crowned the world’s best airport, securing the top spot in the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2025. This marks the 13th time Changi has received this honor, recognized for its exceptional passenger experience, world-class amenities, and innovative design. Doha Hamad International Airport and Tokyo International Airport secured the second and third positions, respectively. The awards were announced on April 9, highlighting the top 20 airports globally, with hubs like Incheon, Narita, Hong Kong, and Paris Charles de Gaulle also making the list.

Meanwhile, in a separate global ranking, the Airports Council International (ACI) released the list of the world’s busiest airports for 2024. Topping the chart once again was Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), handling 108.1 million passengers. Notably, India’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi made the nation proud by securing the 9th position in the global traffic rankings, marking its presence among aviation giants.
