In the first week of the movie, the Salaar Hindi version has been decent right from the word go. Salaar First Part was released on December 22nd. It had a direct competition with Shahrukh Khan’s Dunki. Still, Salaar has performed well in the first week. Going by the trends, initially, Salaar was expected to do an Rs. 100 Crore Nett in its first week but later was adjusted to Rs. 96-97 Crores based on its weekend performance.
Now, after the completion of the first week, Salaar collected Rs. 94 Crores Nett. Though slightly short of expectations, Salaar should be considered as doing well. The film would have made even more if not for competition with Dunki.
Nevertheless, the collections are decent and the furthermore collections are important as the film does not have any support in India other than Hindi and Telugu. Overall, Salaar is marching towards Rs. 600 Crores gross.
