Rajasthan Royals Deny Match-Fixing Allegations After 2-Run Defeat to LSG

Rishabh Pant set to play IPL 2024

Rajasthan Royals have strongly denied accusations of match-fixing following their narrow 2-run loss to Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2025. Jaydeep Bihani, convenor of the Rajasthan Cricket Association’s (RCA) ad hoc committee, raised suspicions about the match result, suggesting possible tampering.

In response, RR senior official Deep Roy called Bihani’s statements “false, baseless, and without any evidence.” The Rajasthan Royals management filed a formal complaint with the Chief Minister, Sports Minister, and Sports Secretary, demanding action against Bihani. They rejected the claims, stating they had worked in full compliance with BCCI guidelines and in coordination with the Rajasthan Sports Council to host the matches in Jaipur.
