Renowned filmmaker Puri Jagannadh is all set to make a powerful comeback with a high-octane pan-India project starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. After a brief gap post Double iSmart, Puri is returning with renewed energy, crafting a mass entertainer that promises his signature style of action and emotion. The film is being produced under the Puri Connects banner by Puri and Charmme Kaur.
Titled Beggar (tentatively), the film has already generated buzz with the addition of Kannada sensation Vijay Kumar, who impressed Telugu audiences in Veera Simha Reddy. This marks his second straight Telugu film. Also joining the cast is acclaimed actress Tabu, set to play a powerful role. The script is penned by Puri himself, and the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Regular shooting is scheduled to begin in June.
