Purandeswari to Replace Nadda? Delhi Buzzing With BJP Power Shuffle Rumours!

The political grapevine in the capital is abuzz with talk that Daggubati Purandeswari could be headed for one of the top two positions in the BJP,  either as the National President or as the Deputy Speaker of the Lok Sabha.

With BJP reportedly looking to boost its southern face and female representation, Purandeswari’s name is doing the rounds in high circles. Insiders whisper that PM Modi himself is in favour of this  strategic move, ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha session and future elections.

Party sources say her fluent command over English, Hindi, and Telugu, coupled with her clean image and strong experience, makes her a front-runner. She’s already led the BJP Mahila Morcha, served as a Union Minister, and is currently BJP’s AP state chief, a résumé hard to ignore.

This buzz also comes amid talk that the BJP is looking to shed its “North-heavy” image, and Purandeswari could be just the leader to help bridge that divide.

Whether she steps into Nadda’s shoes or takes the Deputy Speaker’s chair, one thing is clear: Purandeswari is back in the national spotlight.
