Philadelphia: NATS Grand Children’s Day Celebrations!

NATS Children’s Day event in Philadelphia

The children’s celebrations were organized by the North American Telugu Society (NATS) Philadelphia division. These celebrations were held at the local Indian Temple Cultural Center. More than 160 boys and girls enthusiastically participated in this event.

NATS organized competitions in Telugu traditional dance, film dance, traditional music, film music, mathematics, Telugu elocution, Telugu poetry, and painting to celebrate the occasion. The competitions were conducted in three categories – children under eight years, under twelve years, and above twelve years of age. NATS awarded prizes to the top three finishers.

NATS Vice President Harinath Bungatavula, Ravi Indrakanti, Ramana Rakothu, Babu Medi, Saroj Sagaram, Venkat Sakhamuri, Vishwanath Koganti, and others participated in the event and organized to take the event to the next level. Sumana Chaganti, Sumedha Gavaravarapu, Akshaya Palyapudi, Sneha Indrakanti, and Avantika Manna hosted the show. NATS President Bapayya Chaudhary (Bapu) Nuthi and NATS Chairwoman Aruna Ganti thanked those who made these celebrations a grand success.
