Massive Encounter in Karregutta: Over 30 Maoists Feared Dead

A major anti-Maoist operation in the forested Karregutta region on the Telangana–Chhattisgarh border has reportedly led to the death of over 30 Maoists. Dubbed “Operation Karregutta,” the joint offensive by central and state security forces involved drone surveillance and aerial bombing by helicopters, targeting key Maoist hideouts. Though the official death toll is yet to be confirmed, initial reports suggest heavy casualties.
