Congress party today unveiled their manifesto – a 42-page manifesto that includes 62 main points. AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge released the manifesto where TPCC President Revanth Reddy and Congress key leader Bhatti Vikramarka were also present. The Congress party made it clear that they were going to fulfill all the six guarantees along with this manifesto as soon as they came to power.
Here are some of the key points of the Congress manifesto –
- Conducting ‘Praja Darbar’ every day in the CM’s office to resolve public issues. Also, conducting the same every day in the MLA’s respective constituencies.
- A new revenue system in place of ‘Dharani’, all ownership rights including purchase and sale to farmers of wastelands and beneficiaries of assigned lands.
- Setting up of Farmers’ Commission with legal powers for permanent settlement of their problems.
- Removal of cases against the youth who participated in the Telangana agitation. Also, issuing them ID cards recognizing them as the Telangana activists.
- Filling up 2 lakh government jobs in the first year.
- unemployment allowance of Rs. 4,000 for the unemployed youth. Along with the youth commission, interest-free loan facility up to Rs.10 lakh.
