Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi head K Chandrasekhar Rao has assessed the reasons behind the loss of the party in the recently concluded Telangana assembly elections. After the hip surgery, KCR is said to have recovered completely and is getting back into the political zone. KCR met BRS parliamentary leaders at Telangana Bhavan and analyzed the reason why the party lost in the assembly elections.
He has also revealed the strategies the party had to follow for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. KCR opined that the Congress government lost people’s trust in just 3 months and the fight will only be between BRS and BJP in the Lok Sabha elections.
KCR stated that the local anti-incumbency played a big role in the defeat of BRS. He said that the people wanted KCR to continue as the Chief Minister but were not happy with their local leaders. However, he said that winning and losing are part and parcel of politics.
