Kamal Haasan to Join Rajya Sabha Soon

Makkal Needhi Maiyam (MNM) party president Kamal Haasan is set to become a member of the Rajya Sabha soon. The party’s vice president, Tangavel, confirmed this development, stating that an agreement had been made with the DMK to allocate a Rajya Sabha seat to Kamal Haasan as part of their previous alliance. With the term of two DMK members ending in July, Kamal Haasan will take over one of their seats. Currently in the United States, Kamal Haasan is expected to take the oath as a Rajya Sabha member upon his return in July.
