Hyderabad Sees Decline in Housing Sales in Early 2025

Hyderabad’s real estate market has witnessed a noticeable slowdown in the first quarter of 2025. According to a report by PropTiger, between January and March 2025, only 10,647 residential units were sold. This marks a 26% decline compared to the same period last year, when 14,298 units were sold.

In contrast, other major cities saw growth in sales. Bengaluru experienced a 13% increase, while Chennai saw an 8% rise in housing sales. This decline in Hyderabad’s sales may be a temporary dip, with future trends depending on the broader economic and market conditions.
