In the video, the person commented that the recent top commercial movies have the same kind of over-the-top retro kind of music and the star hero is introduced with his dialogue from his past movies.

The netizens are commenting that Venkat Prabhu took a dig at directors like Lokesh Kanagaraj and Atlee who are hard-core commercial directors. However, Venkat Prabhu tried to explain. He explained, “No no no!!! It’s about all of us who are doing commercial flick!! And what he is saying is kinda true too!! If we try to give something different from the regular commercial template!! are the fans ready to accept!”
