FIR against Mitchell Marsh for his act after winning the WC
Australian allrounder Mitchell Marsh went viral after Australia won the World Cup for the record sixth time. Mitchell Marsh placed his legs on the prestigious World Cup and posed for a photograph. The World Cup trophy was placed on the floor. Marsh could be seen holding a pint of beer in his hand. This act of Mitchell Marsh hurt the sentiments of many people in India. Now, an FIR has been filed against him.
Going into the details, an ITR activist named Pandit Keshav filed a complaint at Delhi Gate Police Station, and in the complaint, he asked to impose a ban on the cricketer.
The Delhi Police have accepted the case and an FIR has been filed against him. Now, with the FIR filed we have to wait and see how the Delhi Police will approach this case. In the complaint, he mentioned that Marsh’s act after winning the World Cup humiliated the sentiments of 140 Crore Indians and demanded a ban on him from ever playing in India.
