Rebel Star Prabhas is currently waiting for the release of Salaar which is one of the biggest budget flicks in recent times. Prashant Neel is the director of the movie. Salaar is getting released on December 22nd and the expectations are quite high for this movie, especially in the Telugu States. Mythri Movie Makers, a leading production house and exhibition house bought Salaar for exorbitant prices.

To make up for this, Mythri Movie Makers have applied for ticket hikes and extra shows in both the Telugu-speaking states. Not only did the Telangana government grant special shows for this movie but also granted special 1 AM shows on December 23rd. 20 screens have been selected in Hyderabad for this.

The Telangana government has given special permission to hike the ticket prices up to Rs. 253.70 for single screens and Rs. 413 for multiplexes for the first week. However, the rates are quite low in AP when compared to Telangana. The single screens can hike the price up to Rs 194.70 while the multiplexes are permitted to hike the ticket fare up to Rs 224.20. Andhra Pradesh hasn’t permitted extra shows.
