Naga Chaitanya plays the role of Sagar Varma Avadhuri, a corrupted journalist. He gets mysterious paper cuttings beforehand which turn out to be true. Sagar Varma starts to dig deep and finds out some unraveling truths that shatter his world.

Parvathy Thiruvothu, Prachi Desai, and Priya Bhavani Shanker played important roles in this 8 episode series. Dhootha is streaming in over 240 countries and territories in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
