Hi Nanna and Extra movie collections
Last weekend, two notable films were released. Natural Star Nani’s Hi Nanna and Nithiin’s Extra Ordinary Man. While the first one is an emotional tale of father and daughter, the second one is projected as a hilarious entertainer.
Hi Nanna which was released on December 7th opened to mixed reviews. The day one of the film was quite ordinary. However, the film picked up well after the evening shows. The Saturday and Sunday collections of the film are quite strong and Hi Nanna didn’t see huge drops on the first Monday. Hi Nanna is quite good in multiplexes. Almost 60 percent of the revenue was recovered.
On the other hand, Nithiin’s Extra Ordinary Man which promised a fun entertainer was a complete washout. Though the first half provides some laughs, the second half is a total mess. Extra Ordinary Man will fall massively short of the target – Rs. 25 Crores.
Hi Nanna might reach the breakeven mark after the second weekend as there are no notable releases at the BO.
