Big Alert for PAN Card Holders: Link with Aadhaar by Dec 31, 2025

The Central Government has issued a major alert for PAN card holders. Those who have obtained their PAN cards using Aadhaar enrollment details are now required to link their PAN with Aadhaar. The deadline for this linking has been set as December 31, 2025. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) recently issued a notification regarding this. PAN card holders who received their PAN after obtaining an Aadhaar enrollment ID before October 1, 2024, must complete the linking process by the specified date.
