AP High Court issues notices to Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, and other officials
The Andhra Pradesh High Court has today issued notices to AP government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and other top officials. The petition is said to be regarding the Why AP needs the Jagan program. The state government has launched this program recently where YSRCP leaders and state government officers will be taking part in the program.
They will go door to door explaining the benefits of the YS Jagan government’s welfare schemes. This program started early this month and is likely to continue for the next two weeks. Reportedly a journalist named Kattegopu Venkataiah filed a petition in the High Court against the state government questioning why the government officers need to participate in a program like this which is going to benefit solely the ruling party.
He questioned the prerogative of the state government officials taking part in the government. He alleged that Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy had played key role in making the government officers a part of this program.
The court responded to the petition and issued notices to Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, chief secretary K S Jawahar Reddy, and secretaries of Panchayat Raj and Municipal Administration departments.
