Animal movie review and rating

Sandeep Reddy Vanga in one of the interviews of Kabir Singh stated that he will show what a violent film is, as the critics have termed Kabir Singh a violent movie. Keeping his word, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has shown what a violent movie truly looks like. Animal releases today and check out the review here.

Story:

Ranvijay Singh (Ranbir Kapoor) has been violent since childhood. He has immense love for his father Balbir Singh (Anil Kapoor). However, his father doesn’t understand Ranvijay’s eccentric love and sends him away.

However, after 8 years, Ranvijay returns home after his father has been attacked. He vows to take revenge on who attacked his father. The rest of the story is all about Ranvijay’s journey, his extreme love for his father, and his relationship with Geethanjali (Rashmika).

Performances:

Ranbir Kapoor is a complete actor. We have seen a few films of his best performances so far and Animal stands on top of all these. He has shown different variations in Ranvijay’s character. He is extremely good in the movie. We will become a fan of Ranbir after this movie.

Rashmika Mandanna will surprise you. There is another angle of hers and it is good to see. Anil Kapoor is brilliant as the father. Bobby Deol plays the antagonist but his role is limited. However, he has done well. The rest of the actors have done well in their respective roles.

Technical Aspects:

The technical values of the T Series are fantastic. There is lavishness written in every frame. Showcasing the richest family in the nation was shown believably. Sandeep Reddy Vanga has yet again proven that he will not think regularly. The writing is so strong for Animal. Though this movie might not have a complete appeal like Arjun Reddy, Animal is a strong attempt too. Sandeep Reddy Vanga took care of the first half excellently with a brilliant interval block. However, the second half slows down considerably and that is needed for the story. Again, the pre-climax and climax pay off well. There is a surprise in the post-credits scene.

Background music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar is terrific. The songs composed by different music directors have been used effectively. The editing is debatable. The film is 3 hours 21 minutes long. The cinematography is extraordinary. The other technical stuff is good too.

Analysis:

Animal is another debatable movie for audiences and critics. But Sandeep Reddy Vanga has showcased what he believed. Animal is a film that will be liked by audiences who have no objections with his taking. For others, well, it is a concern.
