Andhra Pradesh Leads in New Projects and Investments for FY 2025

In the 2025 fiscal year, Andhra Pradesh secured a total of 351 new projects worth ₹3,06,653.14 crore, positioning the state among the top five in the country for new industrial developments. Notably, the state attracted the second-largest investment with the ₹70,000 crore ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel project. In contrast, Tamil Nadu, which recorded the highest economic growth rate in the country, did not feature in the top 10 states for new projects.

Despite Telangana securing 586 projects valued at ₹1,75,311.60 crore, it ranked ninth in the country, highlighting Andhra Pradesh’s superior performance in attracting high-value investments. The state’s focus on infrastructure development, including the establishment of green hydrogen hubs and industrial corridors, has been instrumental in this achievement. These developments reflect a significant turnaround from previous years, bringing optimism to the state’s industrial landscape.
