Amaravati Railway Line Project: Tenders to be Invited Soon
The proposed Amaravati Railway Line project, a key development for the Andhra Pradesh capital region, is progressing rapidly. Authorities have announced that tenders for the project will be invited in the next two months under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model.
The project will be completed in two phases. The first phase involves constructing a railway line from Amaravati to Errupalem, along with a major railway bridge over the Krishna River. The remaining work will be completed in the second phase.
Currently, land acquisition for the railway line from Amaravati to Errupalem is underway and is expected to be completed in the next two months. Once the land acquisition is finalized, the tender process will begin.
Once completed, the Amaravati Railway Line will improve transportation facilities in the capital region, contributing to regional development. There is growing interest in the project as tenders are set to be announced soon.
