Super Star Krishna said that even though he acted in more than 360 films, Alluri Sitaramaraju would always be his No 1. film. It ran for over a year in many centers.

Alluri Sitaramaraju is the first cinema-scope film in Tollywood and in fact, South Cinema. The movie’s song Telugu Veera Levara went on to win the National Award.
