80 Telangana Tourists Stranded in Srinagar Amid Terror Attack Fears
Around 80 tourists from Telangana, including 10 from Sangareddy, are currently stranded in Srinagar following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam. The group, which includes visitors from Hyderabad, Warangal, Mahabubnagar, and Medak, had traveled to Jammu and Kashmir for sightseeing but found themselves caught up in the sudden security scare. Fearing for their safety, the stranded tourists have released a video calling on the government to ensure their safe return to Hyderabad.
The state government has responded swiftly, coordinating with local authorities and the Jammu and Kashmir administration to facilitate the safe evacuation of the tourists. Efforts are underway to arrange transport for the stranded group, with officials working to ensure they are safely escorted back to Hyderabad. In the meantime, the tourists have been provided with accommodations and assured of their safety until their departure. The Telangana government has also assured families that all necessary steps are being taken to bring their loved ones back home without delay.
