Vote for Development: Why ‘free’ schemes will not work everytime
With the elections within a week in Andhra Pradesh there has been a lot of tension among the politicians. There is YSRCP on one side and the alliance of TDP, JSP, and BJP on the other side. The Congress is contesting as well but the main battle is between the YSRCP and the alliance.
There are ‘free’ schemes to attract the voters on one side and there is development on the other. YS Jagan made many fake promises when he came into power in 2019. He kept aside development completely and only focussed on freebies which made the state go back many years. We have been buried in lakhs of crores of loans.
However, there is the visionary leader Chandrababu Naidu who voted for development. His manifesto is filled with some promises as well but the prime motto of CBN is development. With development, the income will be increased and with the increased income, the welfare schemes could be implemented.
There goes the saying in English, “A mouse dies in the mouse trap because it doesn’t understand why the cheese is free.” Those who understand this quote will definitely vote for development.
