A baby was rescued from tin roof in Chennai Avadi
A baby was seen sitting on the tin roof of an apartment complex shocked the residents in Chennai, Avadi. The video clip shows the nail-biting rescue of the baby from the tin roof he was on. The fortunate or unfortunate baby fell from the fourth-floor balcony and landed on a sun shade two storeys down.
The baby is recognized as Harin Magi and could be seen sitting on hands and knees near the edge of the sun shade. The residents tried to rescue the baby from the first-floor window and some other residents kept blankets on the ground floor as a cover. A mattress was placed beneath the blanket.
As the video progresses, the child comes closer to the edge, her legs almost in the air. A person tried to grab her from the first-floor window while two others held his legs. He finally grabs her and gives her to the person inside the apartment. Finally, the nail-biting rescue act came to a happy ending.
Avadi Police Commissioner Shankar revealed that the incident occurred at VGN Stafford, a residential community in Avadi. The child is doing fine, he confirmed.
