Vijay Deverakonda has celebrated his birthday today. On this occasion, a few details of his next were announced. Vijay will be playing the lead role in a periodic drama. It will be directed by Shyam Singha Roy fame Rahul Sankitryan.

Both Vijay Deverakonda and Rahul Sankitryan earlier worked together for the movie Taxiwala which was a super hit. Now, they will be teaming up for a periodic drama. The story will be set up in the timeline of 1854 – 1878. The concept poster of the project was unveiled and it states ‘The Legend of the Cursed Land’.

It is said that Rashmika Mandanna will play the female lead in this movie. However, nothing is concrete yet and an official confirmation will be given very soon. The shooting formalities of this project will kickstart early next year.

Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda will complete the shooting of two films – Gautham Tinnanuri’s next and Ravi Kiran Kola’s next which is set up in the rural backdrop.
