Dr Devaiah’s family donates 50 million dollars to St Joseph Hospital
The Dr. Pagidipati Devaiah-Rudramma family, NRI Telugus from Tampa Bay, Florida, USA, donated ₹417 crore ($50 million) to the local St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital Foundation on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Dr. Pagidipati’s family members Siddharth, Ami, Rahul, Neha, Srujani, Arjun, Ishaan, Aarya, Aren, and others have supported this donation. It is one of the largest ever donations given to the health care in Tampa. Dr. Devaiah’s family stated that this donation will contribute to the development of a new pediatric facility at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and is part of a strategy to further increase state-of-the-art healthcare for children at the hospital.
The newly constructed children’s hospital will be named Pagidipati Children’s Hospital at St. Joseph. Dr. Rudrama and Devaiah are giving their support to many other service organizations besides NATS.
