Andhra Pradesh assembly speaker Tammineni Sitaram has issued notices to the rebel MLAs in the state once again. He asked them to appear before him on February 5th after the Governor’s address to both Houses of Assembly and Legislative Council. Out of the eight rebel MLAs, only five have reported to the speaker on January 29th.

YSRCP rebel MLAs Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, and Undavalli Sridevi, TDP rebel MLA Vasupalli Ganesh were present before the speaker and explained their version. Other TDP rebel MLAs, Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan, and Karanam Balarama Krishna skipped meeting the speaker.

The YSRCP rebel MLAs requested more time to react to the notices and the lone TDP MLA who attended before the speaker said that he would honor whatever decision was made by the speaker. Another MLA Maddali Giridhar was unable to report as he was on a foreign trip.
