Mahendra Singh Dhoni, despite his age, is giving his all for the franchise Chennai Super Kings. To manage workload, he has given up captaincy this year. He is coming down in the batting order. Usually, vintage Dhoni used to come at #5, #4, or #6 in the batting order.
But this time he is coming down at #7 or even low. In the last match, MS Dhoni came down at #9 which sparked controversy. Many social media users tried to troll Dhoni for sending Thakur in front of him and only coming to bat if it’s the 19th or 20th over.
However, the reality is something different. His body is not supporting him completely. He has undergone knee surgery after the completion of last season. Still, he is playing this year’s IPL with a leg muscle tear which is hindering his movements.
MS Dhoni wanted to take a break but CSK is already facing several players’ unavailability. So, MS Dhoni wanted to stay with the team and give what he could. Even with the little cameos, MS Dhoni had made a huge impact. His keeping brilliance is always intact.
