Legendary Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao has forever etched a place in the hearts of the Telugu people. Recently his 101st birth anniversary was observed. The Telugu people across the world remembered the icon NTR on the special day. Apart from movies, NTR has even made his mark in politics too. He served as the Chief Minister of the United Andhra Pradesh.

NTR’s 101st birth anniversary was celebrated at the Edison, New Jersey, UBlood office in the United States under the guidance of the UBlood Foundation. UBlood founder Dr. Jai Yalamanchili, Mohana Krishna Mannava (Chairman of Telugu Desam Guntur Campaign Committee), and many dignitaries from India participated as chief guests.

150 people from the NRI Telugu Desam fan club attended the event and made it a grand success. Many have shared their experiences working with the legend.

Director of JSW & Jaiswaraajya Organizations Dr. Shivakumar Anand used to work as NTR’s photographer and he recalled the moments he spent with NTR. He shared his connection with NTR and those present at the event. He said that he learned many things from NTR. He praised NTR for being punctual and respecting even those younger than him. He said that NTR is the only legend for him. It is the one and only legend.

Mohanakrishna Mannava said that it is certain that TDP will win in the recently concluded elections. He expressed hope that the people will give a huge majority to the TDP in the assembly elections. He shared an association with NTR. He said that the same schemes started by NTR are being continued even today. He said that the law made by NTR was passed to give half of the property to women and today’s governments are continuing it.

UBlood founder, JSWtv, Jai SwaraajyaTV advisory said that during his college life, he was greatly influenced by NTR, who was a leader in the field of cinema and politics. He asked everyone to respect NTR as such a great man and leader will never be born again. In recognition of the services rendered by NTR, he demanded that the Indian government should recognize him by Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award.
