No respite for Koratala Siva in Supreme Court
It is very well known that director Koratala Siva is facing copyright issues for the super hit film he made with the title Srimanthudu. A writer named Sarath Chandra has alleged that Koratala Siva has copied his story which was published in the Swathi weekly magazine. Sarath Chandra approached Nampally Court where it ordered to file criminal charges against Koratala Siva.
The director then moved to the upper court, the High Court, where after hearing the arguments and examining the evidence submitted by the writer Sarath Chandra in the court, the Telangana High Court ordered the same. It asked to file criminal charges against the director.
Then, Koratala Siva moved the case to the Supreme Court. The bench examined the case and gave its verdict that Koratala Siva should face charges as per the directives of the local courts. Now, we have to wait and see how the director would respond to it.
