New releases this week
Apart from the Telugu releases, two flicks have generated huge buzz and have been released this week. One of them is a Hollywood flick, Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire. The trailer suggests that these monsters have to collectively face a new enemy. The anticipation of this film is much higher. Godzilla and Kong movies have always been super hit in India and at least a double-digit opening is expected across the nation.
Not only in the multiplexes, Godzilla X Kong is also going to attract single screens as well. The film has already sold 45,000 tickets in the three national chains of multiplexes.
The other flick is a Bollywood film titled Crew. Interestingly, this film doesn’t boast of a male star but has been star-studded with female stars. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon have played the female leads in the movie with the caption Risk It, Fake It, and Steal It. Through advance bookings, already 15,000 tickets have been sold, and at least Rs. 7-8 Crores opening is expected.
